Music Gear Trade,
Swap, Sale, Giveaway
A SUCCESS!

Our Music Gear Sale-Swap, Sell, Giveaway, planned and organized by Alana Johnson, was quite successful this past Sunday. Music gear was sold, and some given away. I'm not sure if any was swapped.

Alana and I thought that we would have time to rehearse some songs, while we waited upstairs with the music equipment, but we were quite busy visiting with everyone who came by.

It was fun getting to play some of the gear and answering questions.

We plan to hold another music gear sale sometime this fall. We'll let you know when we figure out the date.

Leo Summer Schedule

As has become a tradition, we’ve been opening Leo Coffeehouse at Zion United Church of Christ every Sunday this summer. We’ve got three Sundays left on our summer schedule.

All-Evening Song Circle: August 23, 30, 5:00-9:00 PM

Song Circle/Open Mic: August 16, 5:00-9:00 PM

Starts with a song circle and ends with open mic. We plan to set up our normal sound system.

Musicians new to our open mic get to sign up first, then people who haven’t been to one in a while, and then everyone else. The sign up sheet will go out at 6:00 PM and performers will start playing at 6:30 PM. Each performer gets to play two songs.

That’s all for this Folknotes, I hope to see you soon.
